I had been wanting to try out a home microdermabrasion kit for a while when Olay’s Regenerist Microdermabrasion kit came out a few years ago. There weren’t too many kits out there at the time, and the ones that were had pricetags that were much too high for my budget at the time. I was a little skeptical, given that it was a drugstore product, but I had read in several places that the formulation was very similar to a certain high end company’s microdermabrasion product, so I I got over the nerves and decided to give it a try.

Now, I can’t imagine not having tried Olay’s kit. It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth and catches me up in the exfoliation department, which has become so much more important as I get older. But besides it’s effectiveness, I really like the pricetag. Sure, I’ll splurge for a high end cream or serum here and there, but I like to have a stable of quality products that are more wallet friendly. Though it can be difficult to find high quality drugstore lines, Olay’s still got a winner with the microdermabrasion kit. And, judging by the success of the entire Regenerist line, I’d say that they’re doing something right. I definitely give a thumbs up to the few products in the line that I have tried!
