Navy Perfume by Dana

Back in the days of old — you know, before the Bath and Body Works revolution — Navy by Dana was my favorite fragrance. While many of my other friends were dabbing on their Exclamation! and Love's Baby Soft (I still have very fond memories of both of these scents, as well), I was rockin' the Navy. Seeing the signature navy and white packaging and bottle still takes me back, and I'm happy to see that Navy is still being manufactured.

Navy Perfume by Dana was launched in 1990 and is classified as an oriental floral fragrance. The feminine scent features notes of citrus and florals, as well as spicy notes of cinnamon and coriander. The combination of the navy color scheme, at a time when everything was still flourescent pink (I do love this color!), with the floriental scent made me feel so sophisticated and grown up during my junior high years, which were otherwise filled with social awkwardness and bad perms.
